

Justine's passion for yoga stems from her search to bring balance and peace into her life during her teenage years. Since then, yoga has transformed her view and appreciation for all life and continues to do so each day. Justine completed the Dharma Yoga teacher training program, and is also working towards achieving her doctorate in physical therapy. She hopes to incorporate the healing powers of yoga into her physical therapy practice, and vice-versa.
With an exploration of movement as meditation, Justine emphasizes the use of asana as a way to focus the mind, inviting a sense of inner clarity and peace. Justine believes that yoga is about unifying the body and mind to live fully in the moment, which helps us to discover within ourselves the gifts of compassion, harmony, peace and love. Her classes invite participants to turn awareness inward and nurture the body and mind as they are.
