Lynda Boudreault

Lynda grew up in a small town near Boston, Massachusetts. She had her first taste of Yoga while in high school, practicing Yoga in her
living room with her mother along videos led by Rachel Welch.  Lynda dabbled in Yoga for years, occasionally attending classes in gyms and wherever else it might be offered.

When Lynda moved to Austin to attend graduate school in 2001, she was exposed to
a wealth of Yoga studios and philosophies that she was able to turn to when she began dealing with stress and anxiety.  Lynda began her teacher training as a way to deepen her own practice, and by the time she finished both graduate school and Yoga teacher training, she knew that Yoga was a gift she wanted to share.

Lynda's approach to Yoga, on and off the mat, is to make it applicable to the real world.  She encourages her students to develop practices that reflect their needs; to listen to their bodies to understand those needs; to meet limitations with patience; and to negotiate those limitations with grace. Lynda views her classes as a laboratory for students to experiment with breath, movement and awareness.  Students are invited to take what they need and
leave what they do not, because Yoga is a big science and offers something for everyone.
